A great day for a very hard very hilly and very well organized race . Great spport from all around .And a good goody bag ! Also 2 water stations and a very welcome fruit platter at the end .Take note any Tom Scott organizers reading this .NO water stations and if you ran over1.20 not even a cup of tapwater at the end!
Tough race today, weather was a factor but it was the hills really slowed me down.
New one for me, and what a tough 10km. Weather was great a little bit to warm for me but great scenic race, the hills on the other hand where a bit hard especially in the warm sun. Happy with my time, since Ive not been trained very much. Well organise and great atmosphere at the start and finish. One for next year!!
Hope to take minutes of last years time.
Reasonable result 7th place overall still need to work on the endurance..
pleased with performance, but less flat than I'd hoped. would have liked pb but given course not bad effort. 20mins split halfway but too tired at the last 2km.. 40/456
withdrew- poorly knee
Great Race. Well organised , beautiful scenery , wasn't up for a pb anyway so didn't worry too much about the hills . Exactly equal splits , used my ALDI heart rate monitor to keep myself under control . I actually enjoyed running this . Apologies to betters , but you were warned

That was tough! I knew it was going to be hilly but wasn't expecting the sun as well.
Not going to be in best fettle having done 22 miles on Friday night but still felt pretty good on Sunday morning. Ran a solid race but it's a tough 10k with all those hills thrown in - my splits varied between 3.33 and 4.26! Finished 20th but didn't overtake or get overtaken anywhere in back 5k. Very well organised event with a great community feel to it.
Finished 6th overall and 2nd M40. Managed to catch 2 runners in the last 2km or so.
