PJL If fit, will be going for about 1:35-1:40. Sore thigh seems to have recovered now.
Race went much better than expected. 7-min miling for the first few miles felt comfortable so I decided to see how long I could keep it up. Hit 10 miles at 1:10:15 - almost a new 10m PB - and struggled through the last 3 (mostly uphill it seemed) for a respectable 1:33:30. Hurrah! And to all those who bet on me - thanks and you're welcome!

Trehis A spot on paced race for a hilly one, that is paced to the ups and downs and not even paced. Delightful rural route through six villages.
A most enjoyable run for my part and good conditions wather wise.

Greenman First time in a while that I've actually enjoyed a race whilst running it - finished 27th overall as well so it wasn't 'cos I was taking it easy. Grantham Running club 1:20:38 1:22:52 1:23:52 71.84

Durbat 3rd time in this one. Thought I was on for smashing my PB but then found I'd stopped my watch instead of pressing lap button then restarted at next mile marker so I was around 8 minutes behind actual time, Doh!
Seems a bit obvious now, knocking 8 minutes off PB was never gonna happen but you don't think straight in the last few miles of a race, well I don't obviously :) Killamarsh Kestrels RC, Tickhill Velo 1:46:51 1:46:51 1:49:40 57.25
Clarky Should have been a bit more confident about this race. But after my time at Worksop (1hr 34m and it felt hard) i was cautious, especially after hearing that this was quite a tough course. It just felt good from start to finish, i did'nt think any of the hills were particularly tough. Beat my PB by over a minute, just a little gutted that i didn't get under the 90 mins after getting so close. Really enjoyed it! Splits: 6.49, 7.05, 7.12, 6.32, 6.44, 7.23, 6.50, 6.58, 6.57, 6.46, 7.09, 7.01, 6.37, 0.36. Official time 63rd. North Derbyshire RC 1:30:44 1:30:44 1:35:00 1:30:44 63.91

kstuart Will have a stab at sub 2 here, should be able to at least knock some time off my PB though if i dont quiet make sub 2. UPDATE: Well it was windier than i was expecting and for a circular route there was a hell of a lot of headwind. Still knew what i wanted to run at (9:00 miles) which would of gotten me a few mins inside 2 hours. Didn't quiet make that but i did go under 2 hours with 1:59:05 by my watch, will update once i get official results probably tomorrow. Official time 1:59:07, rake in those points ;) Trail Running Association, FERC 1:50:01 1:59:07 1:59:59 1:59:07 48.67
