It has to be a pb, at last... even if only by a few seconds. 23.59 would be nice :-) @update@ I am running a 17 mile 5400ft ascent fell race the Saturday before that is going to take abt 4 hrs, so may still have tired legs!*update* unscathed after fell race :-) tired but legs feeling good. Right, a pb... not the sub 23 I secretley hoped though Raspberry! save that for next time, when I don't do a long steep fell race as preparation ;-)
Athlete In Progress
Just hoping for good weather, really want to run in the 28's!

A little dissapointing I was not near a PB, but did not feel 100% think I've got a slight cold coming on or something, although I don't want to make excuses!

Sorry you guy's did not win your bets, Must do better Next time!
Kieren
Berlin Marathon last week so probably wont be at race pace on this. * update* went out to fast along with 200 other people. Struggled at 3km and had to drop right off the pace. Was able to pick it up again on the last km but the legs didn't have the kick for a burst of speed
funkin
Good solid race today. Bumper turnout as it was the 3rd anniversary. Happy with my time and I know that I could have pushed harder. PS. I feel dirty and used. Thanks Rach_E!
Rach E
YES YES YES YES YES!!!!! And 1st lady. Training the last 2 weeks pointed at this. I am so happy. Thank you Funkin for being my bitch ;-) ***UPDATE*** Officially my time is 18:00 BUT I'm damn well keeping my 17:59 as I had it on the watch and the guy who crossed the line with me was given 17:59!!

Happy 3rd birthday beepy teety. Lovely run although got a bit stuck in the crowd in the first k. Enjoyed the cake after, not to mention my shiny medal and lovely pink bag - my prize for being 3rd lady in the points league.
Well done to Rach E and Mrs Funkin for awesome pbs, not to mention lots of other pbing people too.

Once again, I didn't know how I felt before I started, after long runs and physio. Turned out I felt OK as I got another PB (by 42 seconds I think)...chuffed to bits, again! Also super-chuffed with my lovely shiny medal for being 7th overall in the points prize for last Beepy season, not to mention a shiny new pink rucksack.

Second week back, an improvement of 16 seconds and inside 7 mins/mile. I didn't feel like I was working as hard so I'm getting my fitness back.
