Lefromage This was a very strange run with a couple of early bottle necks where only one person can WALK through and parts of the corse were also single file which made a very slow first 4 or 5 K. However it was a challenging run and some good testing hills. Although my first impressions were very negative as the race went on i grew to really like the course. Monkex Wet and windy, gosh hills too! 1686ft of ascent in total. Loved every last second of it. I was so happy to catch up with a couple of Fetchies. RWAC and SteveX thanks so much for your support and standing about for a long while waitng for me to get to the finish. Your encouragement and cheers for me totally outstanding. Runner Without a Clue my first 10k....a bit wet...a few cheeky hills but a lovely run....just took it fairly gentle to get used to the distance and felt great all the way round - couldn't think of a better way to start a Sunday morning! :-) Great to meet a couple of friendly fetchies too, Monkex and Stevex. warrior first 10k for 3 months and it showed, had a poor start, tough multiterrain course, lost time on a couple of bottlenecks. still enjoyed it, although disappointing time...must try harder... Orpington Road Runners 39:30 40:00 44:00 46:07 58.01
