Boycie Plan was to really use this as a Tempo run, before the big XC race on Saturday. I felt like I was fully in control and running quite a sensible pace, but ended up running 30.22 - which is my 2nd fastest 5mile time ever!!! Splits were 15.15 and 15.07, so another negative split. Got into a good rhythm and just picked people off - 29th overall and a good challenge with Impossible over 5k and 5mile in the next month awaits!!! Unaffiliated 28:20 30:04 30:22 69.41

Impossible is Nothing Good run - no wind but very cold. Ran an even split, my real aim was to beat a clubmate but he ran a blinder so in the end very happy with PB. Long drawn out tussle with someone for the last mile which I won on the final sprint. Pretty pleased all round. Result: 12th out of 238 Westbury Harriers 29:21 29:21 29:21 72.89
Unicorn 29 mins 42 secs by my watch, so should be under 29:45 by official clock!. Went off too fast, and faded. Thanks to those that bet on me. Clevedon AC 29:24 29:42 29:45 29:42 76.91
