Deenzy Went out with Running Crazy to Benidorm. The race is very well organised and friendly. The half marathon is far more popular than the full marathon and has about 2500 entrys with a lot of Brits. It starts at 10 and the hotel Running Crazy use is about a 2 minute walk from the start, so preparations can be made in the comfort of the hotel which is a real bonus. Nice touch at the start with a noisy firework display. The course is quite nice with a good section of it along the sea front. A 1 mile fairly gentle hile at approx 10 miles is quite testing but at least you get to come straight back down it again. The race is chipped and you can get an instant print out of your results and splits straight after the finish which is a nice touch. Goody bag is not bad with a sort of mock crystal finishers ornament (a bit naff but a change from medals I suppose) plus a T shirt, a banana an orange, a Snickers and a bottle of water. As far as my race is concerned, I am very pleased with my time as I was anticipating about 1.55 and had not done much training in the 2 weeks leading up to it due to shoulder injury. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this race and the use of Running Crazy. Wimbledon Windmilers 1:21:39 1:51:25 1:55:00 1:51:25 52.50

Birdypie Hoping to get round quicker than the 2.11 I did last year...but weather will be key. It was roasting last year and I wilted!
