Billy Tough climb between 4k and 7.5k. kept going and someone caught me on 9k and said I was difficult to catch-They could have waited another 1K. Fairlands Valley Spartans RC 39:30 39:30 42:00 40:27 67.25
Hills of Death (HOD) No idea if I'll PB it's 3 days before a 10 miler but it's a club race so need to perform. Not in idea conditions. Rubbish run HR all over place seen better days :( Barnet & District AC, Riverside Runners 44:43 45:40 47:30 56.59
Vindicator Took nearly 3 minutes off my PB on a tough course around the cycle paths of Stevenage, so my marathon training was good for something. Started off a little quick but settled between 2-3K. The underpasses and sharp turns were a little annoying, but the long gradual incline between 4-7K were very hard. Expended too much energy to make good use of the downhill 7.5-9.5K. Tried unsuccessfully to run down a running club colleague in the final stages, but did get 3 other men on the line to score an extra 3 points for the club - very satisfying! A good start to the 10K season, and hope to get faster. Harlow RC 40:21 42:19 43:18 61.17
