Gobi I know I keep saying I will PB and if it is wet and muddy I have no chance but hey I will be trying again Oh, and I had a rest day !!!! WCTT, this is not funny anymore. I turn up and the ground is wet and puddled and it is breezy. Fine I go for it anyway. 1.5kms later I am face down in a puddle,YEP muppet boy slipped, probably cost me 5-10 seconds+time wasted running slower to remove mud from body etc. A great run that aside and I felt strong for all of the race and aware I was pushing all the way to the end. Rach E No bets!!! The course will be wet and it's always XC-esque and slow when it's like that. UPDATE: Pleased to get a course pb when it was as windy & waterlogged as that. 1st lady & had a good sprint off to the line with the 2nd lady. Last km was run in 3:20 so am pleased with that. RFJ No predictions, may be running with RFJ Jnr...... Great time, ran with RFJ Jnr, who had a stoming run and got a PB by over a min to clock 23:07, he loved the puddles.........
