MattTheRat This course is fast, flat and close to home. Should be PB material if not too hot on the day. **RESULT** Another day, another PB. Lovely day, lovely course, and a good time. Very happy. Victoria Park Harriers & Tower Hamlets AC 37:14 38:17 39:30 39:15 70.91

SUPERWOMAN63 My 2nd time here and l was again determined to run to the best of my ability, despite being swarmed by so many athletes that are so much quicker than me. The weather was sunny not as hot as the previous year but still very warm, however this is 3 laps around the park and l really had to concentrate on getting around and at one point l did wonder if was actually going to finish the race as l felt depleted especially since l had put all of my energy and soul into running the marathon. Todays race had been entered before l ran the marathon as l thought 10km would be so much easier after running a marathon how wrong was l ??? I dug in deep after all my husband, children and friends were there to support me l couldn't let them down they already think l'm wonderwoman and not only that l wanted my medal, l did finish and in the back of my mind l said never again ( and then remembered l was running a race the next weekend at Hyde Park ) but who knows, might see you next year, l'm the one near the back. Stayed in the park and had a picnic and enjoyed the sun. Unaffiliated 1:02:32 1:02:32 1:11:00 1:03:28 49.66
