Thrilled at my time, a new PB and looking forward to the GNR next weekend!
This is my time according to my garmin, I'll update it later on when I know the official time. At the end I run like mad to finish before my garmin said 2:05, let's hope that the official time is like my garmin's. It's more than 10 minutes off my pb which I did in april 2006 and 15 minutes less than my last half (connmemara)...

It was kind of tough with 4 horrible hills and I was surprised that even though I train in the same park and I do the same hills I was so exhausted after doing them at the race. The weather was fantastic (maybe slighly too hot for a race) but the most important thing is that....I did it!!! !
could be slow with 4 big hills on the course and the forecast is not good

My very first half marathon...and second race ever. My running partner cancelled on me the night before so was feeling very lost at the start line! Had heard horror stories about the hills...but not too bad. Luckily am living in Cork which is pretty much built on a hill and was good practice. Did better than I thought, even though seriously wanted to walk at mile 12 :-)
