Running for Team Kennet in my old club's race. It'll seem a little strange. Looking forward to this though and have never run it before. ***UPDATE*** A 1 sec PB so can't be disappointed! I would have liked to have gone a little faster but I went off too fast and paid later on. That said I'm pleased with how it went and it's another 5k sub-18:30 so good for consistency. I didn't feel too bad all the way round either. We all had a quick first km though as it was a downhill (which was made up for by an uphill fourth km). Kilometre splits: 3:25, 3:42, 3:41, 3:51, 3:45. 3rd senior lady. Well done felixs again!!
Would like to PB. Will try and probably fail, but will try.
UPDATE - Did try. Did fail. Blaming cold.
Race splits 3.27. 3.42. 3.41. 3.47. 3.44. (5k hurts!) A nice race thanks Alchester. A pb so pleased but aiming for 18.10 soon to help my annoying 10k pb!!.
starting at the back 3 x1km around 4.30 1 x 1km at 4.20 and a 4min Km to finish off avgHr 150 and all very very easy. I could have gone much quicker but I know I would have regretted it.

PB - as it was the 1st 5k ever did!! Very hard!
