Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

My intention was to make myself know that I can run consistently sub 19:30 and today I threw that one out of the ball-park and into new territory. I ran at the back of a tough pack today and down the final straight with encouragement from a fellow club runner (cheers Darren) I ran my little heart out and gained a few places. My legs burnt, I could barely talk at the end of it and I was as high as a kite. All in all, a pleasant run.
A BPTT PB for me, still a min down on best, but getting there, great to meet up with various peeps.
PB :-)
Puffing Bertie
Well something is paying off...........Thanks Kath for a good race ;-)
Rach E
Absolutely ecstatic with my new PB :-) Ran a controlled first k in 3:55 and sped up. Felt very good throughout and I know I have more in me which is a good thing. I think it's finally taught me that a steady start does work. Bushy is a nice course too. Nice to catch up with people and go for coffee afterwards. Av pace: 5:54 min/mile or 3:40min/km.
Kittenheels Kath
PB :-)

Sub 25 :-) :-)

Thanks to Puff who kept just ahead of me all the way round. Felt comfy, even though I was working hard. Nice one.
I feel left out - am I the only one who didn't get a pb today?! Not that I was trying for one honest!
40 minute warm up with Hollywood in the sunshine, lovely run round bptt in the sunshine, and ran back home in the sunshine.
Was just looking to go under 20 mins but felt really good and managed to equal my PB
Athlete In Progress
