E I failed to achieve my bronze time for 10K at Flitwick. So here's the resit. I would like to run faster, I know I can run faster but don't seem to be very good at racing. But, will try my best. Bedford Harriers AC 53:43 54:06 54:25 54:06 61.20

Fenrunner First 10k for a year - I don't like short races but was determined to break 40 mins and it helped having a couple of faster runners from the club with me. Struggled in the last couple of k's but legged it down the finishing straight to make it with eleven seconds to spare. Thinking of 'retiring' from 10k's now and concentrating on 10 miles upwards. KatieB Yay! I've gone through to the smallest flag and back out the other side and i'm waving the biggest flag *ever*. Pain free and lovely...started v sensibly and got faster. Nice to see one and all, not even the PW I was expecting. :-) Bedford Harriers AC 45:00 45:00 51:08 60.16
KinkyS Found that hard! The strong breeze, the offroad stretch, legs tired from Tuesday 10K and Thursday club rub, plus after-effects of yesterday's wedding celebrations - they all added up to a tough run. Slightly disappointed with my time, would have liked to at least break 45 minutes, but I can live with it considering the build up LOL! 21st lady out of 150.
