buttercups1971 This was a difficult race due to the conditions. A driving wind from the sea made me feel physicaly sick at the end! but a good club outing. Just Jog Bideford 55:40 1:00:36 1:06:09 45.57

Impossible is Nothing Ridiculously windy - and it was a battle for all but 1/2 mile, even the sand was unusually (for here) soft and wet. Definitely not a PB day(winners were in only 34 mins). Could maybe have run faster but really running for position (first Harrier home which is handy points for the club championship) and had no real competition from team-mates to push me on. Really well organised event with a whole FE college as race base. Will do it again next year - but I hope there's no wind. Result: 29th out of 1154 Westbury Harriers 37:35 37:35 40:25 66.19

lottypotty It was windy, but thankfully no driving rain! Rather wet on the beach, but not as soft as it has been the past few weeks. The return back to the finish was a real battle, from the pier onwards.Though found something for the finish(couldn't get there fast enough!) as everyone else seems to be 2-3mins from their PB or predicted time, I'm not too disappointed. Will do it again next year, the weather can't be any worse. Great atmosphere, good race HQ & only a 10 min walk home! Weston AC, Womens Running Network Weston-super-Mare 48:17 49:19 53:07 57.50

Qwerty Astonishingly windy! Much wetter on the beach than I had anticipated, but lots of fun. Not a PB, so sorry to those who lost credits on this but the conditions were not ideal, but I'm pleased with the time given how windy it was. Fabulously well organised by Weston AC - a great event :-) Weston AC 57:00 1:01:37 59:59 1:03:44 48.76

ToBaldlyGo Not as bad weatherwise as the forecast led me to believe. Gale force winds true but the rain held off. Pleased with my time only a few seconds worse than last year - a PB was not on the cards in these conditions. Organizers pretty much unfazed by the conditions. I really enjoyed the race Weston AC 54:25 54:25 56:11 54.25

Wirzel Bloody Windy, but enjoyable, not the sort of conditions to run a PB, be surprised if anyone did. Unaffiliated 41:49 44:04 44:00 48:55 56.45
