Grey Badger Fantastic weather(better than last years snow) sunshine all day. Maybe a little to warm if anything. Took 28min off last years time. First home in the run/walk challenge race. Was 24 min ahead of 2nd place. Northumberland Fell Runners 5:24:00 5:15:00 4:56:38 42.59
Jenson Wonderful weather for walkers! Ha. Only ever meant to walk it, though would have liked to have jogged the downhill bits....something to ponder for the future. Feet were absolutely mashed though. Never had blisters like it. Dad, who walked John O'Groats to Lands End recently and been walking in Africa in the last month or so said he never thought it would be that hard, especially on the plates of meat. I nearly lost a shoe in a bog (twice). I would have drowned last year. Ha ha. I may have got the bug for this kind of thing.... esk vally fell club 5:55:00 8:00:00 7:57:00 26.75
