Alopex Hardest part was the 15 minute walk to the start staraight into the wind. About halfway there I realised I probably could do with an extra layer but I couldn't face turning round. First time I've run round Draycote & it's a super course. Enough turns & slight inclines to keep it interesting. Wind was very testing & never ran in anything like it before. Relaxed & friendly organisation - no danger of going off-course. Felt sorry for the latecomers who perhaps didn't realise quite how far the start was from the carpark. Very pleased with my time. One minute quicker than my target & 2 minutes quicker than my first 5m at New Year. Under 7:30 minute miles all the way round.
