dustboy I'm really sorry guys, tail end of a cold caught me unawares. I was just outside PB at 5K and tried to push on, kept gunning it again and again thinking of all these bets but it was slipping away. Felt well rough from 7K on and just no go in the legs. It hurts just as much a s a PB run and then some, but the numbers just don't stack up.

Plus side, met Broxx, top chap, great race, warm weather and paid homage to Mike Gratton.

BTW, my 5K PB stands at 22.51 so sub 50 is deffo normally achievable but sorry anyway.

fraggle Phew - hot day today! Scored a PB by ~30s, so pleased enough with that, but still nowhere near 55 mins. Garmin measured my run as 6.63M, so maybe my sub55 is there after all ? :o) Unaffiliated 54:10 54:10 56:15 54.58
garfieldhouse Slower this week, so I guess that even though it's a flat track, I will be slower than usual. UPDATE: Pleased with time, faster than training this last week, but still want to get back to last years times. Fully recovered from injury now though, so should be possible. icklechick First race in 3 years! 
Thought I'd manage 55 minutes or so .... was on pace for under 50 up until 9km 
(8km split 39:50, 9km 44:45) then legs didn't want to work so much.... still - 4:36 faster than I'd hoped for .... next time hopefully will get under 50 minutes :)
