This was a lovely race; I really enjoyed it. Haven't been training as much these last couple of weeks due to exams so was pleased do do it in under an hour, and a gentle jog on a Sunday morning is always a good way to start the day!
Climbing back from a year of injury.....this race was great, sun, sea, green and no traffic. People should be queueing for this race!
Great scenic course, unfortunately legs just ached all the way around the course..no PB today, will focus on next race on the 6th June!
Always a nice race - hot again this year and new route.
Hairy Legs
Good race - very warm. Fist one after FLM - enjoyed it a lot.
Strooth, even slower than the first race! Was really hoping for under the hour this time. Surprise killer stitch on the last mile & half (never get a stitch running usually). Did start this race very slow to pace myself so praps just ran to hard in the last mile & half as I felt so good. Will try starting faster next race & not drinking so much water before as I was sloshing around a bit.
Micky Two Pints
This was my second race for ages and I just wanted to beat the time I did the Winchester 10k in. I started off far too fast in this one but was pleased that I managed to scrape in with a slightly better time even though I was completely exhausted at the end.
