Heelandcoo This was my first 10k race so pleased with the outcome. Found it tough, especially at the end, the lighthouse seemed to be getting further away! As soon as I had finished I felt I could have run faster. I guess that's all the more reason to enter another race and improve my time! Claremont Road Runners 42:33 48:28 48:28 61.31
jazz Hoped to run faster but it was not to be. Was windier than expected but I suppose it was at the coast! Thought race was well organised, only downside was queues for womens toilets! Lisrun Did much better than I had hoped and faster than the two previous times I have done this race. Wind was behind us at first, but it felt in our faces for the last mile or so. Vicki: Graceless Whippet Had a pretty aweful run tbh - legs felt really heavy and the wind really took the rest of my energy from mile 4. Still, I managed a minute faster than last year.
