hannkies NOT good enough. The only thing I'd say to the likes of Boab and Biru who were obviously as cheesed off as me is that practically everyone I know who ran this was a minute to 90 secs slower than normal. Not everyone's suddenly got unfit I don't suppose. Still - a 2 and a half year worst time for me and not happy. Was 48th. Tizer PB but should be under 40 mins by now - course was fairly hilly, weather was warm, I was just in front of that guy that collapsed and it made me feel a bit dogey - other than that no excuses Falkirk Victoria Harriers 35:16 42:06 42:06 62.92

May Vale of leven race, again another major struggle just managed to get round, health still suffering for some reason, hope to get back to normal soon, beautiful scenery, good course, well organised; ) Scottish Prison Service AAC 36:49 36:49 42:59 69.90
biru Felt terrible throughout most of this race. Maybe went off a bit too fast with the leading group and then from the
first hill onwards just had no power in the legs and the lungs felt wasted. The new Orthotics didn't seem to help my rythm at all... bio-mechanics felt all over the place. Edinburgh Athletic Club 35:11 35:11 36:18 72.73
Ticketyboo Only resumed running on Wenesday after 5 weeks out injured. Felt as though the race was being run at high altitude as I was gasping for air all the way round. Glad to be back running and managed to avoid a PW. Cumbernauld AAC, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 33:50 37:24 40:58 64.66
Boab The shite continues! Absolute mince. Unaffiliated 32:25 34:17 36:36 72.55
wil e coyote A 15 year PW - fantastic........not. Could blame the tough course, but I won't. Could blame the hot weather, but I won't. Basically you get what your training gives you and I did. Role on the next race fest.

Recommend this event though, real buzz to it. Even spotted a female fetchite.. Ayrodynamic Runners, Loudoun Runners AC 34:30 41:00 42:26 64.57

ChrisU OK run, but felt tired and found it hot in the second half. Went through 5k in 17:49, so knew I wasn't on for sub 35 this time. Cambuslang Harriers, Westerlands Cross Country Club, Scottish Veteran Harriers Club 34:38 34:38 35:33 78.91
Gcad First run in 3 weeks after injury should not bear my self up. Unaffiliated 40:32 42:46 40:00 42:46 62.85
kyt shocker, like most of the other fetchers. felt rubbish from 3-7. dehydrated - stopped for 20-odd seconds at the water top. no juice in the legs at all, and it wasn't the heat. great marshall & runner response to the runner who had a seizure at about 3k. Unaffiliated 39:45 40:09 40:30 42:18 63.54
iceblue Had a nightmare of a race and felt terrible from 2k onwards, which cumulated in me throwing up at the side of the road! Slow jog/walked my way to the finish line after that. Thanks for all bets. Cambuslang Harriers, Campbeltown Running Club 40:42 53:06 51:59 59:14 50.90
