Baza Good run on a good day, no wind at the top of the braids for a change. Was hoping for closer to 31 minutes but had to settle for what i got. Good size field to by the looks of it. On another note, if what Steve248 has said IS true, then that is totally unacceptable. And something should be said the the Uni Team who orginse this event. As a race organiser myself I'd be deeply embarrassed. P.S. sorry to the 2 fetchies i spotted, I should have said hi(I think tigger was one of them, other was a bloke). biru first race back after 5 weeks of injury. not on the best of form, although reasonably pleased with my time considering i only started running everyday again last week. another tough race (i always seem to enter races with great big hills, although i actually prefer going up than down....overtook lots of people on the way up, and then got overtaken by many of the same folk on the way down), and a particularly high class field today! nice to meet ya jp105...finally met a fetchite at a race!! ChrisU Finished 22nd in 28:04. Faded a bit in the final 150m just before the last 2 right-angle left turns. Overwise pleased to get a 5-mile PB by more than 1.5 minutes, and on a hilly course. Doonhamer Decided beforehand to run the race as a tempo run and expected to run around 32 mins so i am delighted to have run sub 30 mins at an effort which was a couple of beats lower than tempo. Enjoyed the race which was in perfect conditions although it was disapointing to see that the organisers had packed up before the last finisher had come in and it was other runners who were leaving that were able to direct him to where the finish had been Linlithgow AAC 28:58 29:40 32:00 29:40 71.30
