Rosiematt Went fairly well. Got an injury the previous week but decided to run anyway. Walked and ran as my hip and knee were playing up. Got to 8 miles and ran the last 5 miles. Painful but well worth it. Unaffiliated 2:09:00 2:18:00 2:45:00 2:18:00 48.27

Yorkie78 Horrible weather conditions. Started near the back and ran a slow first mile with a mate before speeding up, but found the zig-zagging to get round back markers very difficult. Would have been well under two hours if I had started properly. Unaffiliated 1:50:01 1:58:00 2:00:00 2:03:23 46.99

Tim of Fife Despite not being quite a PB, I'm really, really pleased with this. I'd a raging head cold, so nearly didn't run at all. During the race, we had to contend with freezing cold, very strong wind, and driving hail on two occasions.

This was my third ever fastest half-marathon, just 42 seconds slower than my 1:43.50 PB. I was actually on course to beat that PB until the ice-cold hail in the tenth mile. That cost me about 90 seconds and took so much out of me that I couldn't 'push' for home and make up the lost time. Unaffiliated 1:39:33 1:44:15 1:44:32 60.06

A new PB on a cold March day, with rain and sleet - a good omen for a PB at Edinburgh, hopefully.

Roobarb A very cold windy race with hailstones!!!!!!! I found the last 2/3 miles quite hard due to the fact that I hadn't run for over two weeks and only did 7m this week. So I am quite pleased with my time considering.......... Lonely Goat Running Club 2:15:09 2:18:45 2:20:00 2:23:34 49.67

auburnette Had a fantastic run here - smashed the PB I'd set only a week earlier at Fleet, not sure how I did that :) Perhaps the wind and the hail inspired me to run fast to escape?? Orpington Road Runners 1:39:28 1:51:48 1:55:00 1:51:48 57.78
