Going fine till 17 miles then the wheels fell off.
I really needed this run though.
Now thinking about anothe 20 race pre FLM.
Revised time from official results, even slower!
Mudlark/Titan Tri sport
3 miles w/up.then 20 race,all done at 86%mhr avg.
felt good allway thru.
Excelllent race, wobbled at 11 miles, managed to smash my previous PB for a half by 10 mins, calf muscles seized up at 17, but I did it and in a time I was very happy with
Quietly hoped to sneek a 2:45 if I had a good day so was well pleased with my time and some 5 mins (ish) off my PB to boot.
Course best by under 4 minutes in four attempts - much needed confidence booster after my hamstring problems last couple of weeks. Best conditions so far, what happened to the wind?
Mad Dogs and Englishmen
Training for Vienna, aiming for 9 minute miling, it's a nice course, should be an enjoyable training run.
Never run 20 miles before - so whatever time I finish will be a PB !
Very happy with my time for a challenging course - very wet & muddy too.
First race back from Ham String Pull, wet cold and very hilly
this race was really tough, we had to run up 3 big hills,
it was and can be agreat race to get ready for the london marathon.
