The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free.
But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient.
Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead.
Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Not the most atmosheric or scenic of races, but it lives up to the comments about fast!
Jeezo, there's a lot of good runners in this race! Had a decent run, went for a sub 34 but wasn't to be so won't complain too much at the end result after a good year. Great race, on my "to do" list for next year again, and a top weekend with Ticketyboo, Connelld and Scott Russell.
Started first k conservatively but then charged to the front at 2k as I was getting cut up. Was still leadng until 3k with swinburn, torry and livesey when I got swamped by the charging pack. Thru 5k in over 15 mins so knew sub 30 was slipping. Had a tough patch 6-8k but rallied quite well. The surging in the first few laps I think cost me a pb but I wanted a clear sight of the road. 30th overall (worse race position since March-12!), stacked.
This race was my last attempt at a new 10K PB in 2014. As someone who was aiming for sub 35, it would have made sence to be allowed in the sub 35 area. End up in the Sub 45 pen, hence getting a time far slower than my goal. Good fast course, just the congestion
