About Me

I did a few 10k runs in the late 1970s, just doing some minimal training and showing up on race day. Afterwards, work got in the way and gained weight. Tried more than a few times to run the weight off but stopped due to shin splints, achilles, and other problems - never formed any good habits. At last, at age 68, I may be on to something lasting. As of this day in late Sep 2O17, I can comfortably run 3-4 miles, do a slow 6mi. It's been 5mos now of steady running. I look forward to next run and hoping it continues.
