I came to running through long term illness ~ I had no energy and then I had lots. Way too much to be comfortable to live with!
I started on a Couch to 5k program at the tail end of March 2014 and graduated in the May.
I'm happier with longer plods than short bursts ~ but in all fairness the short bursts are pretty much plod pace (And the 'longer' isn't necessarily not short)
Oh, and I'm a barn door on legs so I'm not so much a runner, just someone who ends up a bit ... well, runny.
