Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker. I understand. No-one likes ads.

But our site costs money to operate, and I need to eat.

Please consider enabling ads for our website, or making a voluntary donation. If you donate, I can turn off the ads for you for a period of time. Average donations are about £3.50 per month, so a tenner would give you three months ad free.

Here's a link to our donation info.

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK

I'm raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK to help fund further research into finding a cure and supporting those with the cancer. I'm doing this because my dad died of pancreatic cancer in August 2014.

It receives a fraction of the funding into research than other cancers, yet is the 5th biggest killer, and sadly new diagnoses are predicted to rise by 50% by 2027.

About Me

Not adverse to the odd 5k on a treadmill, but started running properly when I went outside and found I liked running races.
Legs (knees/ shins etc) are now in a perpetual state of soreness- pleased drop me a line and let me know how you deal with this!
A little while ago I was asked why I run, at the time I was thinking of- keeps me fit etc etc, but the simple answer is escape- when I'm out I never think of anything I'm just in the moment.
I have done 53 races now since October 2014, and proudly support pancreatic cancer uk, and have worn their charity vest on every one, If you'd like to sponsor me for race 54 and 55 (Cambridge half mara/ wings for life) there should be a link somewhere.
Keep safe and healthy, Phil.
