What’s the best bit of advice that you would give to new runners, bikers and swimmers?
Just get out there and do it, doesn’t matter how fast, slow, good or bad you are the secret is to find something you love to do. I'm terrible at fell running but it doesn't stop me trying to be Billy Bland.

About Me

Started running in 2012 as an indirect consequence of the Olympic games, so I joined a running club and found out that proper training actually makes you faster.
I love cross country. It's all that mud! Funny thing is I used to hate it a school.
Enthusiastic parkrunner. (In the 250 club and 74 different events). 😃
Love swimming.
Injury prone.......Damn those legs, knees, ankles, shins, calves, etc.
Serious coffee enthusiast.
Drummer and frustrated rock star. I think that I may have already had my 15 minuets of fame but I live in hope of getting another 10 if I'm lucky.
I'm feeling too old but still pushing the envelope. Long may it continue because as Neil Young said "It's better to burn out than fade away"
