I started running to lose weight and get fit at the end of 2011. This year I intended my first ever race to be the Boxford 10k in May...which consequently got called off due to flooding. I then decided to up my game and entered the Loch Ness marathon and built in the Mersea 10 miler into the plan to get a bit of race practice. I am sooooo looking forward to the Loch Ness Marathon which finally arrives this Sunday and am already getting excited about planning the remainder of this year and how I can become fitter and faster for a great 2013!
