Hi I used to run in my younger days along time ago and was sidelined by a knee injury. Tried to get into marathon for last four years and finally achieved a ballot place this year. Started running again end of September after trying to lose weight by other means not successfully I would add! Am running for ipswich hospital neonatal unit in memory of my son max who spent the first three months of his very short life there and also in memory of some other very lovely babies whose parents I have been privileged and honoured to know. I will get through this and there will be tears x
