I have been married to Malcolm Collins for ten years and have two children, Abbey aged 8yrs and Lucas aged 6yrs. I am a primary school teacher.
I have been running on and off for many years - taking a break when I was pregnant and busy looking after new borns! My running got a bit more serious when I agreed to run the Robin Hood half marathon during new year celebrations. After months of training and 6weeks off due to a calf injury I completed my first half marathon on September 11th in 2hrs19mins40secs. It wasn't a world record but it was a fantastic personal achievement for me!
