Originally a gymnast then gym bunny I decided age 50 to run the London Marathon!
Managed a GFA time so of course had to run again the following year. Didn't want to waste all that training so ran some trail marathons for fun. 4 years later I am about to run my 25th marathon. Last Sept I tore a calf muscle & suffered achilles problems & thought my running days were over. Months of physio & rest later & I'm back better than ever with 5k & 10k PBs. So watch this space!!! Oct 2013.Yippee can add marathon, half marathon & 10 miles to PB list. April 2014 Marathon PB at Brighton & first VW55 in the country on Run Britain for a week!
