Joined my local jog Scotland club March 2007 and found that i have started to enjoy jogging/running more than i thought. the main reason for starting was to try and control the weight i had gained since stopping smoking on the 9th of January 2006, . Apart from doing a 5k race for life in 2005 with no training, i have not done any running before and i am amazed how quickly my fitness level has improved. I completed my first marathon on the 19th of April. Then my second at the end of May 2009.
