I am a working mum of four, and never even considered running as a hobby as I could never understand why anyone would think it was fun.
That changed in Febuary this year ('10), when I got my place in the London Marathon, which I applied for in March '09 when my four year old son was diagnosed diabetic, and I decided to do something for JDRF.
I now love it!!!!! Completed the London Marathon which I was so pleased with, no records were broken 6 hrs 24 mins 21 secs, but I finished.
