Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker. I understand. No-one likes ads.

But our site costs money to operate, and I need to eat.

Please consider enabling ads for our website, or making a voluntary donation. If you donate, I can turn off the ads for you for a period of time. Average donations are about £3.50 per month, so a tenner would give you three months ad free.

Here's a link to our donation info.

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support

My gran was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in late 2008. The nurses at Macmillan have done a superb job on making her as comfortable as possible and doing what they do best - supporting both her and my family! I'm hoping she will still be here to see me run for both her and the charity in the Great North Run.

About Me

Started running when I first joined RAF - 5 long years ago! Before then I was a couch potato and started sweating and feeling light headed at even the slightest thought of exercise. Now, I have grown to love running - even if it is just a slow 1 mile plod to blow away the cobwebs, or running half marathons to try and beat my PB's.

I aim to do a marathon at some point in my life, and maybe even oneday a triathlon. My favourite runs are 5k and 10k, but I think I was bitten by the Half Mara bug in the 2009 GNR and if all goes well in 2010, I may just have a new favourite running event!

I'm a big lad weighing '14-and-a-bit' stone and have suffered from numerous leg injuries through running - but that just makes me more determined to lose weight and get fitter. Hopefully, all will go well!

Current Status

is ambitious...but rubbish! :)
