About Me
Have considered myself a runner since about 2007 when a friend encouraged me to join her out on the road. Things stepped up after I joined a local running club and soon found myself racing in 10ks, then a couple of halfs and then a marathon. An operation on both feet early last year hampered any running or exercise for a good eight months or so. Since then i'm been trying to get myself back on track. A ballot place in London has meant I am back in training properly and while its hurting at the moment, I'm loving been back into it body and soul.

My three favourite things about running:

1 - No problem is ever as bad as it seemed before setting out
2- Once you feel yourself achieving eight miles, then 14, then 20, attaining goals in every other aspect of your life becomes much easier
3 - It gives me a ferocious appetite that MUST be satisfied!
