About Me
Ran my first race at the beginning of 2009 after playing football, rugby and badminton for most of my life up to that point. Quickly got the bug and never looked back.
Definitely more of a sprinter than a long-distance runner, I'm blessed with some pretty good speed but not much endurance. Best distance is probably a toss-up between 400m & 800m but I have a significant drop-off in times after that. I enjoy road racing and XC but I'm not great at it.
2011/2012 season was great. Really, really great. Huge pb's, BUCS, championship finals, XC, you name it. The aim is to make next year even better.
2013 didn't go so well... less mileage to focus on 400/800 which helped a ton with speed, didn't race that much but did get my 400m time down to 55.0. Lack of racing opportunities ended up in shaving just 2.5s off my 800m time down to 2'07.2.
2014...more mileage. So far:
1'17:31 Half Marathon (pb by 17:14)
35:26 10k (pb by 4:59)
16:59 5k (pb by 60s)
16:39 5000m (pb by 2:51)
9:41 3k (pb by 19s)
9:32 3000m (pb by 1:09)
4:32 1500m (pb by 6s)
2:06.52 800m (pb by 0.7s)
