About Me

Been running since school - nothing too serious though.
Hadn't been over 10K-ish until 2005 when I moved up to 10 miles (Great South Run) and later did my first half - Wokingham in 2007.
Haven't ever convinced myself I could do a full marathon but not ruled it out. In fact, I entered the ballot for London for 2016 and 2017 following banter at work but didn't get in either time.
Have done a few more halfs (halves?) - finally ran the Otmoor Challenge (half) in 2014 having been warned off it by a survivor, then entering/pulling out 3 times due to injury :-(
Enjoyed the Otmoor Challenge so much I ran it again in 2015 and 2016.
...and 2017 - best time so far and my favourite race atm.
Managed 505 miles in 2017 - my most ever. Aiming for 50/month ie. 600 in 2018...
