About Me | |

I took up running in 1988 after a friend persuaded me to run the Dunfermline Half Marathon. After enjoying my first race so much I started training regularly and became a keen runner. In 1991, a friend and I formed Carnegie Harriers running club in Dunfermline and the club is now one of the leading road running clubs in Scotland with over 150 members. I enjoyed my best spell of running in the mid 90's and although I still try to train hard I think the times recorded then will be hard for me to achieve again. I've made many good friends through the sport and hope to keep running for many years to come.Giving triathlon a go in 2011 with the aim of completing Ironman Wales in September.
