I got into FLM06 (my first proper marathon attempt), ran a 3.47 and used the fitness gained as a platform to greater things. plods have turned to jogs, jogs have turned to runs and runs have become PBs! Current PBs all set in my 50s, 1.24 or HM and 2.59 for full marathon (London 2021). 5 out of 6 world majors completed, just Tokyo to go, hopefully in 2025. .
