Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker. I understand. No-one likes ads.

But our site costs money to operate, and I need to eat.

Please consider enabling ads for our website, or making a voluntary donation. If you donate, I can turn off the ads for you for a period of time. Average donations are about £3.50 per month, so a tenner would give you three months ad free.

Here's a link to our donation info.

Thanks,

About Me

a few years back I changed jobs and started working for a great company where they actually supplied coffee and as many biscuits as you could eat. Being the greedy guts that I am I ate them all and for a long time, so I then needed to start burning some off.

I was always a mountain biker and thought runners were a bit sad. I tried biking to lose weight but just didn't have the time every lunch to go for a 3hr ride. So I took back all that I said and tried my hand at running. Since then I've not looked back.

I now LOVE my running, and the feeling I get from it. It gets me out from my desk at lunch time and within 5 mins I'm running along the canal or in the country side.

I enter just a couple of races a year, these mainly being the Slaughterford 9, and the Bath half. I run to a runners world schedule with my Garmin (my running buddie) Maybe I was right about runners all the time the difference is that I now admit that I'm sad. But I'm happy :D

Enjoy
