Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I am fundraising for St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire)

After 6 years of running, having run The Great North Run, various 10Ks, a couple of 10 Mile races and over 225 parkruns, I have decided to train and run my first ever Marathon! Having helped a few times with the on the day activities of setting up and organising the goodie bags as well as handing out medals I have been fortunate to gain an entry to take part in the Kent Roadrunner Marathon on the 30th May - It will be 17 laps of pure pleasure.
I didn't want to focus on any particular illness to raise money for, but would like to raise money for St Michaels Hospice located in Basingstoke which, as you all know, is my home town.

About Me

Happy 2015

Having joined Chineham Park Running Club, this time last year, I can run faster with great training and have achieved faster times and the best in 2014 was achieving a 7 minute PB for my Half Marathon at St. Neots :-) I am happy attending club sessions, they are great and this year I have got to have the courage to run the longer distance runs with club to help with my training for the Kent Roadrunner Marathon, my first at the end of May.

I have the following races planned to help me get there:-

Bramley 10
Fleet Half
Enigma Half at Milton Keynes
I might need a 20 in there too, lets see what happens and I will keep you up to date in my blogs :-)

Current Status

I am happy that I've joined a Running Club :-)
