I am fundraising for MacMillan Cancer Support
What can I say, I have been looking for something to do for this great charity for a number of years after my mother dying of cancer in 2005 and in 2008 my wife Jackie being diagnosed with breast cancer. I finally came up with this madcap idea.Over the period of April to November 2010 I am going to be (virtually) running and cycling the distance between London and New York. I am started the event off with running London Marathon and will be finishing the event by running New York Marathon.
So what does this equate to, a distance of 3460 miles to cover and the intention is to run half and cycle half. This can then be broken down again to a daily figure of running and cycling 10 miles.
