About Me

Did a couple of races pre 2008 but only really started running in January 08 as a way to lose weight, get in shape - I`m getting there....slowly (see times for confirmation) - have def been bitten by the bug!

2009 - A couple of self imposed challenges, 5 half marathons in 5 weekends, Midsummer Munro Half-Marathon (2hrs 33mins) & then into ultras - Caesars Camp Midnight 30 (6hrs 50mins) & Doyen Of The Downs (5hrs 22mins).

Longest Treadmill Run = 22.0 KMs - 02:08:12 - 8th Feb 2009

2010 - Training for VLM warrant serious training (done - 4:00:08). Thunder 24 event (team of 5) was a hoot. Finished the year off with a few marathons. My plan to run a marathon on a treadmill was postponed.

Longest Treadmill Run = 26.3 KMs - 02:39:57 - 28th Dec 2010

2011 - Want to hit the ball long.....

Will admit to entering a large number of races...waves the "support your local races" banner....

Can`t believe where this road has taken me...and I don`t mean the road between the start & finish line either :)
