Started running when my partner was diagnosed with cancer. Ran NY marathon twice for charity (2004, 2005). Had a London place in 2006 but injury stopped me running. Struggled to get going since, although my partner is fit and well again. I like targets which is especially important for running as it's not my favourite pastime. Taken up tennis again which is great but still need running and a club to improve fitness and loose a few pounds.
