About Me
My first enthusiastic run in 1978, a day before my birthday was that early present that I've made use of right to this day! Now 72 and the enthusiasm hasn't waned even though the speed has been left behind..not entirely because of age but a withered calf muscle due to a back injury/neural damage 31 years ago. They said I wouldn't run again!! Running has seen me through thick and thin and even now I am always looking forward to the next run. Not into racing anymore, don't need it to motivate me and can always race myself or pit myself against my wife who runs ultras.
