About Me
I rekindled my running after a long layoff late in 2006 purely to lose some weight. I ran XC when I was in the forces many moons ago and I am amazed just how much fitness a person can lose. I entered my first civvie race in June 2007, the Southend half Marathon and was pleased to break the 2 hour barrier. My goal is to see if I can get back to the fitness levels I had in forces back in the mid 90's ............. wish me luck eh!
