Describe your ideal run, ride or swim.
I used to love any race where it all came right and to plan, which thankfully I have achieved in my running career.... that covered from the fast to the challenge of just finishing, not necessarily on time. But now stored in the memory banks

What's the biggest challenge that awaits you?
Staying physically fit now that I cannot run due to Primary Progressive MS, I use the exercise bike and walking with poles when I can..... trying to stay on my feet and upright.....

How do you pick yourself up when you need to?
Try and talk to others, don't bottle it up and put the mask on, take it off, I had to in 2020 and accept my PPMS....... (A good bottle of Red helps along with some time with Jesus

What’s the best bit of advice that you would give to new runners, bikers and swimmers?
Train within your limits, and don't over-train, listen to the advice given, and don't train too fast on the long runs esp if trg for a marathon, plus go for the challenges...

About Me

What I thought was sort of long term niggle injury turns out to be MS..... not stopping, standing up (when I don't fall) I am fighting this all the way.... Fight the good fight..... Had to give up running in October 2020, now walk with poles and use my exercise bike to keep fit. "So we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially the sin that won't let go. And we must be determined to run the race that is ahead of us" Heb 12 v 1
