Never really did much sport as a kid. One sports teacher informed me that i had two speeds, "slow" and "stop". I don't think either of us envisaged that i would end up classing myself as a runner! This is my sixth year of running and i love it. Mixing outdoor running with gym running before work which balances quite nicely with family life. Still trying to run a couple or three races a year, nothing too major. Currently training for Sheffield Half Marathon in April 2014 and trying to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer in memory of my Mum.
