About Me
Started running again Sep 06, and competed in a number of races from 1 mile up to marathons. In 2015 was diagnosed with a couple of heart problems. This has now stopped me running anymore marathons and slowed my pace down (I can only run up to 80% of my heart rate) if I want to continue running. 2019 still have the heart problems no treatment at the moment due to the issues. I still enter races but have to walk up the hills and watch my heart rate when pushing on the flat. No more PB’s but at least I can still run. I am also an ambassador for Cardiac Athletes that supports all athletes that have heart issues and wish to continue training safely. Anyone wishing to join the group drop me a message.
